• Audio (Sound): This includes everything from sound design and speaker placement to live mixing and the use of microphones. The goal is to ensure clear sound for both performers and the audience.
• Lighting: Lighting designers and technicians create the visual atmosphere of a show. They use a combination of lights, colors, and effects to set the mood, highlight performers, and guide the audience's focus.
• Video and Visuals: This involves video walls, projectors, screens, and live video feeds. It's crucial for presentations, visual effects, and broadcasting the event to a wider audience.
• Staging and Rigging: This is the physical construction of the event space. It includes building stages, sets, and safely hanging all of the equipment (lights, speakers, etc.) from the ceiling or other structures.
• Power: A critical and often overlooked part of technical production is ensuring there's a sufficient and safe power supply for all the equipment.
